Who We Are
Faith Baptist Church came into existance in 1955 when Faith Regular Baptist Church became affiliated with the Northwest Baptist Convention of Southern Baptist. "A total of five Regular Baptist churches eventually affiliated with the Southern Baptists. In 1970 Henry Blackaby became the pastor at Faith. He pastored for 12 years and God impressed upon him to write his experience with God in his life and ministry. This became the best selling book Experiencing God, Knowing and Doing the Will of God. You can still hear from Henry at his website www.blackaby.org
In 1998 God led Steve Fish to come to Canada to be the Minister of Music & Youth at Faith. In 2000 the pastor of Faith responded to God's call to go to Alberta. During this leadership change the church called Steve to be their pastor.
